The Port of Hueneme is prepared to assist its export shippers and customers with their obligations under Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) regulations regarding Verified Gross Mass (VGM) of containers effective July 1, 2016. In effort to facilitate compliance the Port of Hueneme would like to inform its export customers that the following nearby location can assist with weighting containers via State of California certified scale and weight masters.
